There Will Be Cake Art Society is a collective of like-minded; up&coming creatives which emerged during the summer of 2025. It is a grassroots response to an art culture that can make it difficult for younger individuals to break into the established scene.

TWBC is first and foremost a community.

. There Will Be Cake is run by the entire collective, everybody's voice matters and everyone gets a slice! The planning of events and artist get-togethers (Cake Mixes as we like to call them) is completely organized by the collective itself. There Will Be Cake is growing into a beautiful, self-sustaining ecosystem that exists because of the amazing people who contribute their time, money, resources, and energy.
After the success of its first exhibit in June 2025, There Will Be Cake Art Society has had 3 Cake Mixes and 3 more exhibits. TWBC will continue to nurture San Antonio's art scene and the community of artists that make it so vibrant.
TWBC is a purposeful collaboration from artists of all mediums and inclinations. The collective includes a menagerie of oil and acrylic painters, collage and mixed media artists, sculptors ceramists, screen printers, poets, musicians, film makers, photographers, performance artists, and everything in between.
The project is currently entirely funded by the community itself and is committed to be an anti-profit collective.
